The Church at Laodicea (40 min)

PART 7 – Mervyn Hall preaches on the church at Laodicea (Rev 3:14-22). This was the assembly known for being “lukewarm”. But what does this mean? Mervyn suggests that the assembly was a mixture of saved (hot) and lost (cold) and thus was nauseating to God. God counsels the assembly in Laodicea to buy gold tried in the fire, buy white raiment and anoint their eyes with eye salve. The meaning of these expressions is expounded (Message preached 30th July 2017)
