Drug Addicts and Drunkards

George Rassovsky relates his story of conversion at the age of 19. Growing up in a godly home in Bulgaria, George rebelled and became involved in drugs and crime. Yet he could never shake off the conviction of the truth he had heard in his childhood. Moving from Bulgaria to the UK to study, George came in contact with the gospel again and was converted to Christ in 2010. This is a joyful story of the grace of God in action in one young life – and God can do the same for you (Testimony given 19th June 2016)

Paul Thomas relates his life story, which begins with him rebelling against his Christian upbringing and becoming ever more involved in a life of sin. First cigarettes, then drink, then drugs…the lifestyle associated with the rave scene and events like the Glastonbury Festival. God worked in Paul’s life in numerous ways to wake him up to his danger of judgment, partly through his own near heroin overdose, and ultimately through the death of his grandfather. Finally, in 1999, he was brought to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and delivered in an instant from his sin and its chains. A thrilling, challenging story of the grace of God in conversion (Testimony given 9th Nov 2014)

Mark Thomas relates how God in mercy spared his life and delivered him from a reckless path of drugs and rebellion through the salvation of his soul. Gene Higgins also gives his testimony and tells of the humbling of a proud young man and blessing received through the gospel of God’s grace (Testimonies given 25th Aug 2013)

Orasuk alone MEDIUMPeter Orasuk from Prince Edward Island, Canada, was raised in a strict home and taught traditional values as a child. However, in his youth he ran with a rough crowd and ended up a drug addict and a drug dealer. A disappointment to his father, Peter landed in trouble with the Police and behind bars. Back out again, Peter’s life went from bad to worse. His was the party lifestyle – flirting with danger, knowing his next fix could be his last. But by a remarkable series of events, in 1976 light came into Peter’s darkness. Through hearing the gospel message from the Christians in the Gospel Hall in Charlottetown, PEI, he was completely and miraculously delivered from all the chains that bound him. This is a thrilling story that gives eloquent testimony to the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to change lives and destinies. Peter lived many years afterwards to prove the reality of his conversion. He travelled extensively preaching the gospel of Christ to others (Testimony given Aug 2001)
