Sunday School

Sunday School is an important part of Hebron Gospel Hall life and has been for over 40 years. Each week we have a Sunday School at 3.30-4.30pm and a Children's Meeting on Tuesday evening (during term time) from 6.30-7.30pm. (A free lift is available door to door in the Gospel Hall's minibuses).
On Sundays the children spend half of the time together as one group. We sing, learn memory verses and play quizzes that keep them on their toes. At 4.00pm we break up into classes.
5's and under are looked after by Mrs. Rebecca Ellery who tells a story and gives the children a colouring or simple craft to do.
6-8's are taught by Mr Graham Keene, who has been teaching successive classes of this age group for more 25 years.
9-12's are taught week about by Mr Martin Wyatt and Mr Thomas West who begin to move the children from the 'story stage' to begin to grasp what the Bible is really all about.
A teenage/adult Bible class is led by Mr Michael Penfold who has been systematically teaching Bible doctrine each week for a number of years.
On Tuesdays we have an 'open' session, with all ages staying together from start to finish. There are normally up to 10 adults present each time we have a children's session (both on Sundays and Tuesdays). We encourage an environment that is happy and enjoyable but ordered and geared towards learning at the same time.
Please feel free to come and see what Sunday School is like at Hebron Gospel Hall in the near future. You will be made very welcome. For more photos of Sunday School click here.
